Why cdk patients should take curcumin?

Canadian researchers published a study about the role of curcumin in the treatment of chronic kidney disease (CKD). The study shows that curcumin has anti-inflammatory and anti-fibrotic properties which may slow the progression of CDK to end-stage renal disease (ESRD). The study also mentions that current curcumin treatment (normal oral form) does not address the inflammation and fibrosis that mediate progression to ESRD, but micro-particle curcumin or nanoliposomal curcumin has both anti-inflammatory and anti-fibrotic properties which may be an effective treatment for patients with CKD.
