Pakistan Journal of medical sciences published an article about the relation between the level of glutathione and diabetes mellitus. The study mentions that glutathione deficiency was of great significance in the pathogenesis of diabetes mellitus. Maintaining the glutathione level is essential for the prevention of diabetes mellitus progression. Thus, consuming glutathione daily is needed, but oral glutathione has extremely low bioavailability. In order to increase oral bioavailability, the usage of nano liposomal glutathione is preferable.
