In an article published by the Hindawi publisher, researchers evaluated the therapeutic effects of resveratrol on chronic kidney disease (CKD). The study mentions that inflammation and oxidative stress are implicated in the pathogenesis of cardiovascular disease in CKD. The result of the study suggested that resveratrol supplementation could attenuate the progression of CKD by controlling the systemic inflammation and oxidative stress. Nanoliposomal resveratrol could be the best choice due to its higher bioavailability and stability compared to the normal oral form.
